nice vid. it should be noted tho that the colours are added after the pictures are taken, meaning the colours on the planets etc can be completely different. i think they do this to see more details
did you see the end of the vid where they explained how far the hubble telescope has went in 27 years since its launch ?
something like 13 light "days" and when you consider the milky way is like 100 000 light "years" then you cant really comprehend the distances involved in your head .. is just crazzzzzzzzyyyyyyy
Which begs the question... will we ever be able to do any serious space traveling?
No
Travelling at higher speed? still waaaayy too slow even if the human body could cope but it cant.
Teleportation? still too slow even if you could scan and send the soul which highly probable you cant.
Black hole ... Possible but still an unknown physics but even if it was true and you got there, traveling around galaxies would still be tediously slow.
Maybe just maybe there is a sub network of mini black holes ... that would be pretty cool ?

i'd say the answer is YES.
Imagine that we will keep advancing technologicaly at the same speed we are doing right now, possibly even faster, for hundreds/thousands/millions of years. we most likely wont, but if we do, im sure in time we will be able to manipulate alot of shit, possibly even time, who knows? what we know right now cant answer your question, because our knowledge is extremely limited. in the future we might be able to manipulate speed etc etc etc. we have no idea about how to do that right now, but as you say, the universe is huge, and if we find a planet with other resources than we have, we might be able to use them, and build sick shit.
my point is that we have no idea how technology will advance if humanity lives on for thousands, possibly even millions of years ( i dont think we will, but still) with advances in technology, well, all areas of science. we will also evolve over time, possibly making us smarter, stronger, less reliant on food and stuff like that.
with our species intellectual capacity we have endless possibilitys

we dont really need the human body to explore space, ever heard of robots?
Well... at the speeds we are talking about, im sure it has been said that even electronic machines couldn't cope with the various stresses involved.
Imagine dropping a penny from the top of the Eiffel tower and the impact from that penny hitting someone below. But in this case many many many times times worse with even a speck of dust.
I really dont think speed is the answer... maybe black holes will be that answer and another network of mini black holes to get around galaxies once you get there taking out the need to even use speed at all.
