there is but it's for s2 enabled servers AND it uses the 1 and only available insim port which we already use for checklaps.
Maybe there is another program out there now but no doubt it would probably cause lag :/
Something to look at in future but too late in the day for this race sorry.
the other servers will still be up.. so feel free to hang about in them while the final is on (if you dont make it) |

just added 33rd and final driver to the lineup!!!
his nick is LOEB and added into PitStopUK1 group
LOEB is known racer in airattack server, generaly very fair and clean driver, and for his age(around 50) astonishigly quick on BL2 rev.
future enteries for this event are closed, we reached our limit with 11 racers per server!!!! and just 34 hours and 33 minuted till the start of the biggest PitStop event |

Nope sorry but peanut beat me to it.
If I dont make it to the final I will try to give comments during race through split screens. But I`m not sure at the moment how many go into finale. I mean at the moment we have 33 peps joining the event.
I`ll get back on that subject. |

Can I just say .. I am absolutely stunned by this, overwhelmed even.
The take up in this event has been stunning and Im quite sure if we put on another server we would fill it too.
To think back to the embryonic days when the idea was just to get some nice people together who kinda knew each other by racing in a few servers every night and now to the organisation that we are at is really cool ...
testament to the good people that actually joined up here.
You rock ... simple as that |

what about video stream? cos i watched S2 race on video stream (real time), you can choose either winamp or WM player and with 512kbit/sec picture is fairly good quality. and if you add comments from team speak talk you can't even see the difference between real and sim racing.
so it's very possible!!!! |

pheeeewwww...
trust me on this .. Ive been doing video editing for years and that would require not just alot of work but alot of resources (cpu, bandwidth)
I could see a lag fest if we even attempted ... even if it was someone who wasnt involved with the server hosting, it would seriously affect his race unless he had massive bandwidth and a dual cpu pc.
Seriously .. it would be difficult to do but not impossible
maybe something to look into but it would be quite a job to setup |

general talk about live streams
http://www.lfsforum.net/showthrea...8&highlight=live+video+stream
if i've had enough experience with editing, compressing, internet tv, etc... i will try to set this up myself already, but i'm just ignorant CROAT
NEVER BE intimidated with big goals, do your best to find alternative solutions..
i really think this is possible to do for Friday's race!!!! |

that topic just confirms what i said about how to do it .. need dual cpu or another pc right next to a player (preferably a spectator who would also be the director) and shiiiiiiiit loads of bandwidth.
actually you could get away with the bandwidth if we set up a "torrent like" streaming system where everyone would share the bandwidth but this type of system would take a knowledgable person in networking aswell as video editing (who was just a spectator in game) a few days to get going and setup stable ............
really ... just not possible in 1 day |

Well im not in to live streams and video shit. In fact I myte be a stupid dutchman but I think it is to much work in just 1 day. At the moment i`m very glad we got stable servers now. So if you all dont mind I leave at this. Or if someone else has a great idea lets get bacj =k to the last things to take care off.

He North,
I am searching the web to see in wich time scale you are in oklhoma. I think if im correct your in the central tima of the US. Wich means at the moment it is 02:40. Well this means the time in England is now 09:40.
In fact you are 7 hours behind.
I`ll make a topic with a link with worldmap so everybody could see this.
See you tonight
