PitStop ServerHi There you Racing Freaks !!!!!!!!!!It has been a while now since we all drove on the server from Pit Stop. I hope you all had a good summer and off course a good holiday. But winter is slowly coming now so we getting stuck again inside our houses. If been driving for a couple of days now on several servers but I didn’t see anyone of us. Therefore I like to know if you are interested in driving on our server again or not. Just let me know on this thread. See you around, you freaks !!!!! |

I know JC is also in the process of setting up a dedicated server so maybe you 2 could work something out with each other and get this bugger running again
Actually, I've have a very long break from the game now after being bored of it but feels like its done me the power of good and will defiantely be back once im setup in the new house |

It's spring here, and we've had days nudging 30°C!! We're set for a crazy bushfire season >< anyway, yeah i'd like to see it back i'd probably be in the server on weekends or whenever i'm procrastinating and not doing homework lol ><  . Will definately be on it more often when school holidays come round again here

seems to me you are still want to see the server back. I will sort it out and run it. Must find the time to sort things out but it will come. In the mean time joinup on the Redline Racing server. Server hich has 23 slots. Usually 20 cars running, COOL !!! Blackwood with FOX. Great track good car and friendly racers. Just be around soon the server will be back. |

Yeah I do need to ad lots of people.
I will try to get the server up for permanent 24/7. By trying I mean to get my old lappie up and running for server works. Then we dont have to add so many people to the buddy list anymore. I even try to work out some sort of server status page as well, but that wont be in a few days. After the server is running we could have some good nights racing against each other. Little update on server.
As of today server is on lappie wich means PitStopNL Team server 24/7 online. I disabelt great split times because we too many drive on different tracks. By switching to different track i must reboot LFSlapper everytime and manual adjust the split itmes. If we race on a event I will use split time. Als I removed the big text message during racing when somebody has a new PB. I couldnt concentrate during racing when this text message keeps poppin up in screen. It is still there but it is on the topleft like the chat text. Cu racing freaks. |

As you can read in the post right here above the S2 server is up and running 24/7.
This brings me to the Demo Server of PitStop. Because Peanut is moving and soon having a baby we need a new host who can run the demo server. There isnt much you have to do. I got the dedicated PitStop demoserver almost ready. You need just a extra PC or laptop, nothing fancy really just a Pentium 1 will do the trick. The 1 thing you do need is a good upload. Because the demo server has a max slot of 12 you need 512mb/s upload. This isnt neccesary but looking at the past we noticed that overkill in upload never hurts. If you have a spare PC, a good upload and want to serve the demo server please try contact me. You can email me or pm me and I will contact you and sort things out. Please guys we do need that server because there a lot of pitstoppers that dont have a S2 license and want to drive again on pitstop. So come on and CU !!! |

I think JC was in middle of making a dedi server but hit a problem somewhere ... maybe we can help him ? update on my own situation .... think I will be offline for atleast 2 weeks pretty soon .... but it might be for longer than 2 weeks, just depends on how quickly i get the phone line etc sorted in the new place.
