Tournament makeup and rules
A 10 minutes qualifying period will take place before the semi final ... this is to determine starting grid positions before the actual race starts.
Semi final will last for 25 laps with 1 pit required, that means you must pit once within that 25 laps ... see this thread if you are not sure about the pitting proceedure http://ukpitstop.myfreeforum.org/ftopic194.php
You MUST NOT do your required pit within the 1st 3 laps of the race or last 3 laps ... this rule does not include an unscheduled pit for damages which you can do at anytime.
best 3 racers from each server will go thorugh to the final
the 2 fastest 4th placed racers from any server will also go through
We all know accidents happen and if they do pls try to keep going and use the pits to repair ... there will be no restarts unless there is a major and mass collisions at 1st corner ... remember it is a long race .. you will have time to catch up etc, alot can happen in these long races.
Each server will have it's seperate referees/coordinaters
these are as follows:
PSUK1 = Peanut
PSNL1 = Niels
PSNL2 = timi
Final will take place in PitStopNL1 after semi final has finished ... your server referee will let you know what to do once semi has finished
Final will be 10 minutes qualify and 35 laps race.
All other "normal" rules of racing apply e.g. behaviour, sensible language, spamming, crashing etc etc ....
Goodluck
Lets rock !
p.s. ive probably missed something ... im sure timi or someone will add to this post

these are all extremely tough groups ... every one of them
There is no real way to make it absolutey fair and I thank timi for making them up.
He had a formula how he worked it and it was the only real way it could be done
Some people might look at it and think " ive no chance" but trust me on this guys ... these are long races and things can happen, some might cancel, some might get dropped connections, some might be in the pits for 5 minutes like i used to etc etc etc
To make sure that everybody has a nice racing evening I wrote down some notes. Please be willing and apply them to make sure that the servers stay stable during all of race.
- BEFORE YOU ENTER TO ANY SERVER, REBOOT PC .
- MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT DOWNLOADING.
- DISABLE YOUR ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM.
By rebooting your PC you make sure that your cache is empty and any failures during the day are resolved.
Also due to rebooting you PC any program or torrent will be closed and is your connection all free to connect to any PitStop server. This way you have the maximum bandwidth to race.
I doubt if antivirus could cause any trouble but you never know and we better make sure the connection stays open to everbody.
