I think this is a good idea because bans cannot be made permanent due to ip's not being permanent so all we can do is keep an eye on their names and ban them on sight ....

I have forgotten alot of names and had to scrub the list today due to people banning our good friend timi so lets get a list started for quick reference and if you see them in server then ban them .

names i would like to add to it atm are :

Today we had an incident where not only these people listed above ganged upon timi to ban him but one or 2 with [PS] name voted aswell ! (i have chat logs) No doubt they were newer members who didnt know timi or didnt know what they were voting for and i can only appologise to timi for these peoples actions.

This server was created for friends to have a sanctuary to play this game and chat in relative peace and harmony and with the power to keep idiots out and do whatever we wish when we want to ... so far it has been going great and I wouldnt have it any other way creating a boot camp with overly complicated rules.

I would just like to take this oportunity to tell any new or potential members that you are MORE THAN WELCOME, but this is a good thing and is going great and the only rule I personally have is that you are a nice, kind person......rules are common sense.

I wont hesitate to put anyone on the "NAME AND SHAMED" permanant ban list that threatens the feel good factor around here .

Just want to point out to incident that happened today.

Fortunately HOST saw everything and saved me from the chaos that almost eliminate me from future playing on pitstopUK
I'm well known in PITSTOP community despite not using [PS] sign in front of nickname and still some assholes wanted to ban me without any purpose.

Especially I'm angry on new member Drakkie. He continue with banning me without knowing why. This is not proper thing to do from [PS] member.
Think that the problem lies in too many new junior member with [PS] already..
Clearly, even if PITSTOPUK is just demo server, existence of rules is necessary. I already offer Peanut to translate codes and rules of conduct from serbian server www.nacionalnaklasa.com.

I am terribly sorry Timi. Since i am indeed new to the Pitstop thingy, i do not know many people that are members etcetera. If i would vote, it usually is for a reason. I can barely recall the afternoon it hapenned but i think the Rock dudes and someone else were really pushing and crashing. Since i knew he rock dude from msn (i was in his stupid "fake"clan) i assumed he pointed out the correct person. I now know not to trust this 14 (!!) year old child. He has brain damage and is "not normal" (something like the syndrom of down). This i heard afterwards though.

I do not want anything to do with him, and his msn adress has been blocked. I also left a nasty surprise on his computer in the form of a self-designed (=not detectable) trojan Cool

Yet again, i can do no more thatn humbly apologize to you Timi. It now is up to you people to decide whether i can still stay in the clan or are kicked out forever.I will check back here in a week's time,to see the final verdict.Uptil hat time i will not use the [PS] tag in my race name.

drakkie, think twice b4 banning..my vote is to let you use server and forum.. think u learned to be not so quick next time.

Far as using PS name to race, its not needed to be part of our group, in fact I dont use it or Peanut either, as he said in another post .. it may make some racers feel not to comfortable in using our server, as its for all who race nice to use.

All final decisions of course are as it should be..up to Peanut.

Timi opinion is a prime factor also.

to me, takes a man to apologise and I respect that. I feel you are sincere after seeing you in the server today. Tho I dont personally like your virus infecting, its not up to me to be a judge.

I’ve got angry because you and others voted to ban me without apparent reason.(really didn’t even touch no one , just moved to the grass after the start and pitted coz I was chatting with Peanut). Felt like shit so needed to make comment on the forum.

Respect your reply on this subject, so, if it’s up to me you can join to race on pitstopuk anytime and become a member in pitstop forum

...and good thing to have virus hacker in our flock!!!

No they are not members, I have experienced that kind of thing on other servers where you just enter and maybe a couple of people just ban the connecting person immediately to keep the server private.

It is one of my personal hates and one of the reasons this was setup as a sanctuary away from all that.
