Well the best program should be photoshop (i think).
Get trial here Or you could use free photo editing program called Gimp Get Here!, but i have no experience with that. But in photoshop the easiest way to practice skinning for LFS is to open up XFG_DEFAULT.jpg from /data/skins in photoshop and then slap on some various stickers and save the outcome to data/skins with a name wich would definitely not be XFG_DEFAULT.jpg. It could be called XFG_PITSTOPUK.jpg (the names aren't case sensitive)

Ok here is a little picture tutorial
First u should get yourself somekind of a "sticker" for ur skin, i used google imagesearch and found this thingie

To get it into photoshop simply click File->Open.

Now find your "sticker"

Now i copied the upper part of my "sticker" by selecting it with this thingie and pressing Ctrl+C,

before pasting the sticker onto your skin (XFG_DEFAULT) change the skin size into 1024x1024

then i pasted it onto the skin and scaled and moved it where i wanted

And saved it

in the next window just click ok

here is my outcome

And you can get the skin here:

For cars to have those sponsor decals go over to http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/ and go to the auto category. search for a brand name, e.g. apexi, bridgestone, download it (in eps format - open in a program such as adobe photoshop) and there you go, a logo to put on the car Smile

For a bit of skinning inspiration or ideas, head over to http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=37 Very Happy
