On a serious note ... I have been trying for a while to contact my/our good friend Richard who was better known on here as Cactus.

As some may or may not know, he was one of the older members on here and he left for a while to take up trucking. Anyway...even though he was away a lot, he kept in touch with me as we had become good friends since previously in 2001 on another online game called Air Attack.

However, the last contact I had received from him was about 5/6 months ago (extremely unusual) .. when he mentioned that he had to give up trucking to look after a sick family member.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get in contact with him? I know he wouldn't disappear without good reason.

A concerning part is that his email addresses are inactive (postmaster message).

I have his real address which he sent to me a while ago if I ever needed it .. anyone think it wouldn't be over stepping the mark to send him a letter?

He was always VERY active on his computer.... and it just really is not like him to disappear like this.

I just know there is something not right.

From 2001 I think I talked to him practically every day up until he started trucking.... even then he would contact me when he was home without fail.

We were/are really good online buddies and never, ever fell out.

Any ideas of what I could write to cover all bases just in case he doesnt even stay there anymore or god forbid anything has happened to him and a relative receives the letter ?

I am really stuck with this and need a pointer or 2.

I know he wouldn't have minded me trying to do this... in fact in the contrary, often mentioned that he would leave word with family to contact me if anything untoward ever happened to him.

I have to admit, I am starting to fear the worst Sad

some years ago i had talk with Cactus
he mentionede many things
he had stationed in Japan some decades ago
had good times with Peanuts in Flight SIM GAME
and we talked about Japanese portable stove for cooking with charcoal

i think writing letter is best way & hope good result !

i'm still only good at bl2 but i don't play it so often as sometime ago.
because there's no good rallyX server. AA2 - AirAttack#2 - there are the best rallyX-ers but the server is still not like psuk. in psuk was everytime an admin who keept server clean. in aa2 even if there is an admin (for example BARNEY!) there's huge mess...
that's why i'd rather go hotlaping (offline) than race online (if I have time to play)
